Level A2 is divided into three courses: A2-1, A2-2, and A2-3. These courses continue to build on the grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills developed in A1. Each course introduces new structures and themes that increase in complexity, and therefore they are designed to be taken in sequence.
While some students may need flexibility, we strongly recommend completing A2-1 before enrolling in A2-2 or A2-3, especially for those who have not recently studied Spanish. Skipping earlier A2 levels can result in gaps in grammar and vocabulary that will affect progress in later levels.
Each A2 course focuses on different vocabulary and real-life communication contexts, so completing all three A2 levels is important before moving on to B1. This ensures that students gain confidence in everyday interactions and can handle more complex grammatical structures.

Level A2-1 Format:
This course follows a hybrid model, combining online and in-person learning. The hybrid format supports flexibility while also offering a richer language-learning experience through in-person practice.
8 classes will take place online via video conferencing.
2 classes (sessions 5 and 10) will be held in person, providing an opportunity to practice communication skills in a more interactive, face-to-face setting.
NEW THIS SEMESTER!! Optional 1:1 Tutoring Sessions
As a student enrolled in a group class, you have the option to purchase individual 45-minute one-on-one tutoring sessions for $20 each. These sessions take place online and are designed to support you if you know you are going to miss a class or would like extra time to review course materials.
Tutoring sessions must be scheduled within the same time frame as the group class (e.g., September through November for a fall session) and cannot be carried over beyond the course’s end date.
You can purchase as many sessions as you like at the time of registration, and we will reach out after enrollment to coordinate scheduling.
While it is possible to purchase sessions after the course has begun, tutoring spots are limited and availability is not guaranteed once the session is underway. We strongly recommend reserving these tutoring sessions during registration to secure your preferred schedule.
